From 01 February 2016 Railtrans LLC opens a public customs warehouse in Prishtina, Kosovo. The warehouse has a capacity of 1400 m2 of closed area with 24 hour supervision. In addition, it also offers the following services:
• Temporary storage of goods (up to 20 days).
• Customs warehousing.
• Warehousing of goods in transit.
• Loading / unloading of goods.
• Shelf storage system.
• Manipulations with the goods (re-shipments, re-packaging).
• Customs clearance in Kosovo and transit customs for Macedonia, Albania and Serbia.
This warehouse is also a collection point for groupage goods, which come from Europe and Turkey, where they are then distributed to final destinations in Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania.
From Europe and Turkey respectively from Istanbul group transport departures are 2 times a week.
Following the market demands and needs of Railtans customers, Kuehne + Nagel and Railtrans offer group transportation from China to Kosovo every day.
Seeing the need of businesses for partial shipments from Europe and the Region, Railtrans has also established customs liaison warehouses in Istanbul, Tirana, Skopje and Belgrade.
